Princeton Hydro specializes in water resources engineering, including the design of innovative stormwater management systems, wetland & stream restorations, dam removals, sediment dredging, coastal protection structures, and floodplain reconnections. Unlike traditional grey infrastructure approaches, we have an holistic understanding of, and appreciation for, the entire ecosystem, and design projects to emulate nature. We understand the impacts of climate change, including sea level rise, and use tools such as vulnerability assessments to inform our restoration designs. We combine field data, empirical approaches, ecological and geomorphic understanding, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and state-of-the-art computer programming technology to develop our designs.
