Tara is an environmental scientist with a background in coastal geomorphology and marine science. She is a recent graduate of Boston University, where she earned her B.A. in Earth and Environmental Science. Some of her favorite past projects include a field work research study on the formation of potholes in New England salt marshes; an IUCN regional assessment on the threatened status of seagrasses in the North Atlantic; and a report on the preparedness and resiliency of Massachusetts coastal/riverine municipalities for climate change. She enjoys working with geospatial and physical data as well as considering the social side of environmental projects.
At Princeton Hydro, Tara works with the Natural Resources Department on a wide variety of wetland restoration activities.
Tara spends much of her free time experimenting with baking, learning new yoga poses, going on wildlife photography hikes, and writing music for her ukulele.
